The Salvage Waistlace is a collaboration between Brooklyn-based sculptor Iulian Budea and JUPITER crafted from used motorcycle chains, stainless steel hardware, and rose brass embellishments.  Motorcycle chains are cured to withstand insane abuse so manipulating these metals in a precious capacity requires significant skill.  All pieces are finished with a unique surface crackling and with the Iulian Budea and JUPITER marks etched into the chain links.  Salvage was designed as a standalone aesthetic statement or for use as a key chain.
